Youngest Remnant. Considered the "baby" of the trio.

Represents Sephiroth's softer aspects, such as his longing for his mother, his feelings of being lost in the world, his loneliness, and his emotionally stunted development.

Because Loz is the most emotions-based Remant, he resembles Angeal. Angeal was Sephiroth's emotional core, the thing that grounded and soothed him. Thus, Loz is his living image.

Loz acts tough and violent mostly as a means of coping with his negative feelings. Mentally, he's not much older than six or seven years old. He responds to anger the way a child would.

Yazoo and Kadaj tend to tease and dote on him in equal measure.

Loz is the most nature-focused member of the trio. He loves animals, flowers, fresh air, and camping! He is also a surprisingly great swimmer despite his bulkier body type.

Loz is VERY easily distracted and has a tendency to become overly excited during a fight. He can be reckless and unwieldy. He's honestly not a very smart fighter--his goal is to just hit things.

For all his brutishness, he desperately relies on his brothers to give his life meaning. He cries a lot, and often at night. The world often frightens him and he requires physical closeness in order to feel safe.

Yazoo is detached towards the world. Kadaj is angry at the world. But Loz? Loz is just depressed. Easily the most depressed out of the Remnants. He often feels an incredible void of despair just in existing, scared and confused, often anxious. He wants his brothers. He wants his mommy. He wants to feel comforted and loved. And part of him knows that he'll never really achieve that state. It hurts him so much. And it never goes away.

When he's not brawling or causing trouble, Loz is amused by toys and video games. He's also something of a jock and loves to compete in sports, though he always cries when he loses.

Some eepy doodles I've done over the course of a few days. Slapped on some colour on it to do something mindless this evening. I am SO tired. Have been all week. But I at least try to be creative each day. Anyway... Bunch of "Sector VII" stuff. Happy lil Cloud cuz he deserves being full of joy. 🦌 First time showing Rufus. Poor Yazoo had to deal with some pointless flirting from him. Leopard man is NOT having any of it lol. They happen to run into each other from time to time. Tseng X Rufus will be a thing eventually (I just think they are neat) but in the beginning he's trying his luck with Yazoo. - I actually kinda teased this way back when I posted this. And last but not least, two of my dragon oc's from my story "Sacred Wings". Just Silver Bleach and Poison Viper.

Thoughts on asg having not only one kid but 3? (Aka the remnants)

im entirely on board with that thought, i think it would be entirely chaotic in every possible way! i do think they could figure out how to manage it though

being they’re first time parents and of three children, they probably have to play trial and error a lot, but i feel angeal is quickly able to pick up on each one of their quirks and sephiroth is able to strategize how to manage each of them, but poor genesis is stressed to hell and back and nearly ripping out his hair the entire time

i feel like infancy would be the easiest stage… meaning not easy at all because infants are usually a nightmare, and having three is most likely even worse! especially when its the remnants… i think baby loz would cling to angeal like his life depended on it, to the point angeal has to get one of those baby carriers that straps the baby to your chest, and none of the others would be able to settle loz no matter what. and i think kadaj would be an overall ultra fussy baby, none of them are getting sleep with him around and they all end up having to take shifts to care for him, although for some reason, after kadaj has started tiring himself out, sephiroth is the one that is for some reason able to put him to sleep. i think baby yazoo would be just an absolute angel though, like the perfect baby everyone would wish for, a little clingy but nothing near as bad as loz, and luckiky he doesn’t seem to have much of a parental preference so they’re all able to manage him quite easily.

i think toddler-childhood years with the remnants were a nightmare not only for asg but for yazoo and loz too for having to be brothers of kadaj! the remnants definitely gave asg a major run for their money, but mainly kadaj… kadaj was definitely a little asshole that would bully, fight, and steal loz and yazoo’s toys and such, and was definitely overall just very misbehaved, causing angeal to have to step in and issue punishments, meanwhile genesis was running around to try and sort everything out and help calm down a sobbing loz and sephiroth could probably calm yazoo with ease, although i dont think yazoo would be very bad, maybe a few tears here and there but sephiroth would just mainly have to talk yazoo out of trying to retaliate against kadaj… unfortunately, despite sephiroth’s efforts, genesis will be willing to look the other way on occasion when yazoo does retaliate.

teenage years were definitely the worst though, for everyone involved! genesis probably had to deal with each of their emotional problems, especially because teenage kadaj is most likely reminiscent of teenage genesis going through an angsty phase. loz still very much favors angeal, and i don’t think loz gets into much trouble, but i do think he’d be the most bullied of them all, so angeal would have to frequently try and help loz. angeal is definitely still the punishment giver though, although kadaj and sometimes yazoo dont always listen to angeal, so sephiroth has to step in instead, in which they know they’re in major trouble at that point. i feel like asg definitely raised them well enough that none of the remnants got into any truly bad trouble though, probably just doing the standard teenage angst kind of shit that would get them grounded for like a week.

overall, despite there definitely being plenty of ups and downs, i think asg would do pretty well with three kids! they would definitely be running around constantly but i think with just a bit of communication, the three of them would be able to manage the remnants, especially with each of the remnants having a different favorite parent. the remnants would ultimately grow up pretty well! healthy and happy for the most part! i think they’d be a really nice, healthy family at the end of day, especially when the remnants are all grown up

So... my friend and fellow ff7 enjoyer @wowa-bublord got an ask about AGS raising the remnants so 🥺 now I feel like I have to finally make this public sknfkjashfa

I have a LOT of things about this au so you are free to send asks about anything! In this au Sephiroth is brought back by the lifestream 5 years after the Nibelheim incident. The lifestream was able to separate the Jenova influence over his mind by splitting them into other three bodies, that's where the baby remnants come in! They basically all got spit out of the lifestream together inside a cave and Jenova's influence over Sephiroth is quite weak now, he is very confused tho, and has trouble remembering what happened in Nibelheim. And of course, he is even more confused because, "Where did these babies come from???". But overall he takes them under his care, he couldn't possibly leave them alone, he bonds fairly quickly with them. They are the only thing he has for a while.

And yep, that scar on Seph is from Cloud stabbing him, it goes all around

Also, this will eventually be AGS, but a few things happen before that lol (I have many things to talk about)

post AC, how does Tifa interact/care for the Remnants of Sephiroth?

I'm gonna ask this to a bunch of folks because I want a broad perspective!

Right after AC, Tifa's probably a bit hesitant to take in the Remnants. In my mind, I think Aerith probably asks her to. She knows Tifa can help get them on the right track.

She sets ground rules first, and they're surprisingly simple. Don't terrorize Cloud, for one.

Kadaj doesn't follow this rule often.

They stay with her and Cloud, or nearby if they start feeling too cramped.

It's all about helping them get on their feet, finding their place and whatnot.

She really does her best to not get too upset with them. If they do something that ticks her off they get sent to help-Tifa-with-company-logistics jail.

For more specific stuff with each of them..

Kadaj

I feel like Kadaj and Tifa are a little tense with eachother at first.

Tifa's almost WAY too cautious around him, but she chills out after a bit.

She really wants Kadaj to have a space where he feels comfortable.

I think she asks Kadaj to help her out the most.

They probably still have some moments where they don't get along great. Tifa does her best to smooth things out afterwards.

Yazoo

Tifa takes a bit to warm up to Yazoo. He can be just so quiet sometimes.

They probably end up genuinely okay with eachother after Tifa teaches Yazoo how to make some drinks.

She also helps Yazoo with haircuts, as infrequent as they are. She does NOT understand how the Remnant's hair growth works, and she never will.

Between all of the Remnants, Tifa asks Yazoo to watch over the building more than the others.

She can count on Yazoo to not break things at least.

Loz

Probably one of their first interactions post-AC, Loz apologizes to Tifa for fighting in the church.

All Tifa does is shrug in response. Water under the bridge now. No hard feelings. Now help her load these boxes for Cloud.

She appreciates how open Loz is with emotions.

Loz helps out everywhere, even when Tifa doesn't ask him to.

She has to remind Loz that there are doors for a reason. Stop walking through walls around town. People are starting to complain.

All in all I think Tifa does her best to get the Remnants to a point where they can go off and do their own things, if they want to. She's nervous about that deep down, but they've proven to her time and time again that they aren't just going to burn the world down. (Maybe just a bit, but it'd be an accident.)

I had a lot of thoughts about this!! I couldn't get some down though because it was hard to put them into words lol. Tifa and her new fully grown adopted children against the world.
